How Dynasty Trade Value Is Estimated

In dynasty fantasy football, a player's trade value depends heavily on their position (WRs typically hold value longer than RBs due to lower injury risk and longer effective careers), their age relative to their position's typical peak, and their current talent/production level relative to their peers.

This Calculator's Approach

This tool assigns a position-based value ceiling, adjusts it by your 1–10 talent rating, and then applies an age-based multiplier that peaks near each position's typical prime years (younger for RBs, around age 24; older for QBs, around age 29) and decays as a player moves further from that peak in either direction.

Why This Isn't a Replacement for Real Rankings

Actual dynasty trade values are driven by weekly performance, injury news, coaching changes, depth chart battles, and shifting community sentiment — none of which a static formula can capture.
